Who we are
Personally, the short version (hee hee)
I went to College at
Oklahoma State University in Stillwater,
for Interior Design and a minor in English. I ran all
around The United States, in a complete cirlcle, working for Linen's-n-Things as a
store manager. Why?
Because that is where the money was.
Broken Arrow, OK
LaFayette, LA
Shreveport, LA
Columbia, SC
Omaha, NE
Then back to Tulsa and Broken Arrow
I worked for Margo's clothing &
shoe store for 5 years as their Store Manager in Bartlesville,
Oklahoma. I left Margo's to manage all the soft lines at Sears in the same Mall.
Shortly after working at Sears, I met my husband. I married
late in life and moved around, living the military life, for 8 more
years. We are now retired from the Marine Corps.! Broken Arrow,
Oklahoma is home.
Carolina Baby
came about 10 years ago when my daughter was born. I was able to
move the business with me each time we moved.
Thank you to all our
customers - you allow me to continue working from my home.
I believe that volunteer-work is important!
I have served as a
Director for the Jaycee's in Bartlesville, Oklahoma for 4 years. Helped
out with the Red Cross during Blood Drives. While in N. Carolina I was
also a Key Volunteer and a Key
Co-ordinator for my husbands battalion.
I became a Guardian Ad Litem or a Child Court Advocate. I enjoyed this work the most. Now I am
on the board of our local J.O.M. in Broken Arrow. Not to mention a lot
of church work.
If you would like to Volunteer, do as I did and go to America's Promiseand see what you can do
to help out in your area. Volunteering is the best form of
therapy for what ails you.
